Studio Recording

Hear and Now offers affordable studio recordings produced and engineered by real musicians and audio fanatics. We'll record rock bands, brass bands, folks groups, soloists, and more. With a versatile studio and the power of Logic Pro, we can make any artist or ensemble sound sound their best.

Our clients are often surprised at how great they sound.

All-day Demo Special -- $460

Our basic one-day demo recording session includes one hour of setup, one hour meal break, seven hours of recording, and six hours of mixing. Rental of amps and guitars is available at affordable rates through Sunnbolt Music. This package is recommended for bands that have been rehearsing extensively and are ready to record a three to five song EP or demo. One well rehearsed band recently recorded over 10 songs in a live session with no overdubs using this package. Additional post-production at $40 per hour.

Mobile Recording

With our laptop, portable interface, high-quality direct-digital pre amps, and a wide variety of microphones, Hear and Now is a great choice for recording your next performance, recital, showcase, or rehearsal. Options include various mic setups, as well as taking signal directly from your board.

Our basic mobile recording rates are $45 per hour with a 3 hour minimum to include 1 hour set up/take down. Extra charges may apply for travel. Rates can be flexible depending on your type of project/ensemble. We give discounts for multiple bookings. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.

Location Recording Rates for School and Community Groups

Package 1 -- $250

Location recording 2.5 hour maximum concert plus travel and set up time of 1.5 hours. Includes 24 bit digital stereo recording with back up. May include additional microphones and tracks depending on venue and size and type of ensemble. Additional 3 to 4 hours mixing, editing and mastering to stereo CD format. 2 copies of CD master delivered to client. Additional on-site time billed at $45/hour. Discounts are given for multiple sessions.

Package 2 -- CD sales package.

No up front costs. CDs are sold to performers only.

Same services as package 1 but includes duplication and CD sales pre order minimum of 40 at $12.00 each or 30 CDs at $15.00 each. Additional charge of $2.00 per CD for handling and postage unless CDs are distributed by the client. CDs are in slim line cases with either printed labels or direct printing. Includes insert card with cover and program.

Mixing and Mastering

Hear and Now Audio also offers complete mixing, editing and mastering services at $45 an hour with a four hour minimum. We've got experience mixing nearly every genre of music, live and in-studio recordings, indoors and outdoors. Need something remixed or mastered? Contact us! For mixing services, we're happy to negotiate deals for larger projects.
